Health Check Follow-up #1: Happy CNY

After my health check up on 17 June 2024 (I think is this date)

I finally got chance to follow up on what the doctor ask me to do. Go to gastroenterologist and find out the root cause of my iron deficiency anemia.

So I went to clinic on 25 January 2025 then the doctor ask me to do a lot of tests

• Blood test
• Ultrasound
• Gastroscopy
• Colonoscopy

I did my blood test on 27 January 2025, think got 5 tubes LOL then the next day did ultrasound. Then my other two did on 1 February 2025, considered admission to ward. I followed the instructions for colonoscopy, need to follow low fibre low residual diet 3 days before. Although the diet never really affect me lah LOL. Wanted to do it after CNY but nvm too.

So my whole week quite tired actually.

24 Jan - Trial LRS until 4am

25 Jan - Consultation with doctor then went overnight LRS

26 Jan - Sleep / Eat

27 Jan - Blood test > Work

28 Jan - Ultrasound

29 Jan - Visiting

30 Jan - Visiting and Pator

31 Jan - Work > Evening Run > colonoscopy prep

1 Feb - Admission to hospital and iron drip > visiting with dear x2

So 31 Jan that night lol the fortrans. In summary I need drink a total of 4 litres mixture of water and powder. The instructions was to drink 3 litres, starting 2 hours after dinner, and start the last litre at 430am. So I started at 1130pm. Then 1 hour drink 1 litre. So I finished the 3 litres around 230am. Then 430am need to wake up and drink 4th litre. Then when everything settled I just go hospital 'cause need reach by 745am.

So on 1 Feb, I went hospital then got admitted to a ward 0462, seems nice and cosy. Then when its time for the two tests at about 9am, the nurse wheel me while I lying on my bed lah to the room. Then doctor help me with anesthesia, at first I very scared. But heng heng I just KO LOL. Then when I woke up it's 11+ liao rofl. Sleep until very shiok.

Then got fish porridge to eat, eat finish liao jiu discharged le then just nice dear reached liao then he accompany me walk to the clinic find my 主治医生. My doctor say need to do iron infusion. But when the iron drip too fast, I get the overwhelmed feeling like cannot take it. So end up paiseh she has to OT with me while let it drip slowly. Then dear also wait for me until 2plus then drip finish. After that we go eat late lunch then go for visiting activities~

Not sure what will happen next, probably need to see all the test results then update again.
