I erased my existing external HDD so that I can backup my current macbook contents...
Initially thought it was just time machine backup. But keep having to deal with older backups and the new backup just won’t start. So I went Disk Utility and wiped out the external HDD. Consequences are, I lost all the stuff I did in SP, STE, LM and Pivotal. Yeah I forgot to backup all these before I wipe the data out. I think the greater impact was SP folder, as it reminds me of the songs I wrote, the music I made. That I was once a music student. At that moment was like omg. I called myself an IT professional? Basic stuff here and I forgot. I thought I was about to cry. But nah I didn’t. I dk why I didn’t too. Probably because all the stuff I wrote were shit LOL WEI. Maybe I could have write something better now if I want to. Haha.
It’s 28 September 7.51pm where I got back my Macbook from Funan and have been trying to backup my Mac to no avail for the past 3-4 hours. Finally managed to get time machine starting and it’s going to be another long wait.
After backup is done(I guess maybe midnight. The laptop estimate 15 hours LOL I estimate 4 hours let’s see who’s right hahahaha), probably will try reformat on my own, and if it fails I will go look for the guy in Funan LOL since I already paid, might as well seek his help. And pay more wei~
Edited 29Sep 4.42pm. So end up the person told me ah reformat liao cannot restore back own Time Machine backup, ahahaha end up he help me wipe everything. Then when I got my Mac back, I just reinstall all the essential apps. He settled around 12pm, I went home to set up dao 3plus? Then yeah hahahaha looks good! Hope it will last till end of Nov :x
